Key Responsibilities

• Develop custom Shopify themes using Shopify’s Liquid templating language and HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/jQuery
• Integrate Shopify with third-party services and applications, such as payment gateways, shipping providers, and marketing automation tools
• Set up and configure Shopify apps and plugins to extend the functionality of Shopify websites
• Collaborate with web designers to translate design concepts into functional Shopify themes
• Develop responsive designs to ensure optimal user experience across devices
• Conduct quality assurance checks on all development work to ensure it meets both client requirements and agency standards
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in Shopify development to provide the best solutions to clients

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Shopify developer or a similar role in web development
• Proficiency in Shopify’s Liquid templating language and HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/jQuery
• Experience with Shopify APIs, Shopify app development, and third-party integrations
• Understanding of SEO principles and how they apply to Shopify websites
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with project managers, designers
