Key Responsibilities
- Develop custom Shopify themes using Shopify’s Liquid templating language and HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/jQuery
- Integrate Shopify with third-party services and applications, such as payment gateways, shipping providers, and marketing automation tools
- Set up and configure Shopify apps and plugins to extend the functionality of Shopify websites
- Collaborate with web designers to translate design concepts into functional Shopify themes
- Develop responsive designs to ensure optimal user experience across devices
- Conduct quality assurance checks on all development work to ensure it meets both client requirements and agency standards
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in Shopify development to provide the best solutions to clients
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Shopify developer or a similar role in web development
- Proficiency in Shopify’s Liquid templating language and HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/jQuery
- Experience with Shopify APIs, Shopify app development, and third-party integrations
- Understanding of SEO principles and how they apply to Shopify websites
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with project managers, designers
